CIPA Towing Mirrors 11401 Editorial Review
The CIPA 11401 Dodge Driver Side Custom Towing Mirror has garnered positive feedback from customers who are looking for an economical and practical solution for enhancing visibility while towing. Customers appreciate that these mirrors are designed to slip over existing mirrors, making installation straightforward and saving them from having to invest in more expensive towing mirror options. Many users have reported that once adjusted, the mirrors provide adequate sightlines even with large trailers, such as a 33' travel trailer. Though the mirrors are largely praised for their stability at highway speeds and compatibility with existing folding mechanisms, a few users mentioned minor inconveniences. These include the tightness of the screw knob during assembly, which can be mitigated easily with a bit of candle wax, as well as the fact that the slip-on mirrors cover the ground light, leading to reduced visibility in that area. There were also mentions of customer service experiences surrounding ordering, as some users found it confusing when they received one mirror instead of a pair, or stated issues with fitting other vehicles like the Ford Expedition. Nevertheless, for those with compatible models, such as the 2014 Ram 1500, the mirrors are seen as an excellent alternative for easy towing enhancements without complex modifications. In summary, the CIPA custom towing mirrors offer an affordable and functional solution for extending rear visibility while towing, making them a popular choice among Dodge truck owners. **
