- CorrosionX Aviation is an aviation-grade and military-specified corrosion inhibitor designed specifically for aircraft maintenance professionals and do-it-yourself aircraft owners. Unlike conventional coatings, its ultra-thin film penetrates deeply, protects thoroughly, and never needs to be removed, making it ideal for routine maintenance and giving you extra protection and capability critical when conditions turn extreme. Formulated with advanced Polar Bonding and self-healing Fluid Thin Film Coating (FTFC) technologies, it stops corrosion instantly, displaces moisture completely, and creates a resilient barrier that defends critical components from rust, oxidation, and environmental degradation. Upon application, CorrosionX climbs rivets and penetrates deep into lap seams and joints, and isolates dissimilar metals with a dielectric thin film. It drives out moisture and forms a molecular bond with metal surfaces, providing thorough protection. The result is a self-repairing film that protects aluminum and magnesium alloys, ferrous alloys, and other metals without attracting dust or adding appreciable weight. It’s ideal for both active flight use and long-term storage. This non-conductive formula contains no waxes or silicones, making it safe for sensitive electronics and avionics, including switches, battery terminals, antenna bases, buss bars, and circuit boards. It also lubricates moving parts such as drum actuators, hinges, and rotor heads.
