There is no temperature rating for the rack, but it handles hot pan out of the oven nicely. It is also capable of holding a full-size sheet pan or two 1/2 size pans on each shelf. The open side feature allows trays to be inserted from either side which is great for the half sheet pans, although it would take some force to push a tray through enough to fall out which is unlikely to happen accidentally. The commercial bakery rack is lightweight, making it easy to maneuver it around, and it glides smoothly on its wheels. This is one of the best purchases that many have made in a long time, as it can hold a lot of items without getting unstable.
