Fantasy Editorial Review
Season of Storms is an upcoming Witcher book that follows Geralt and his profession. The book is lighter on non-Witcher storylines, much to the pleasure of readers who disliked the previous books' extensive focus on secondary plotlines. Some readers found the book difficult to read, either due to being out of their comfort zone or the allusions to pop culture and modern politics that hamper their suspension of disbelief. Others found Geralt's story refreshing and exciting, with a satisfying end that they won't spoil. One reader was disappointed that the book didn't connect with previous books and was solely a "book of random events." Overall, those who enjoy reading about the Witcher should enjoy Season of Storms.
