Stay prepared for cold weather with the AcuRite 00799HDSBA1 00799 Digital Outdoor Window Thermometer. This handy thermometer allows you to easily check the temperature with just a quick glance out the window. Featuring a weather-proof metallic mount with a rubber weather seal, this thermometer securely sticks to any surface using a large suction cup.
Its digital display provides clear and easy-to-read 3/4-inch-high numerals, allowing you to read the temperature even from a distance. With a temperature range of -4 to +158 degrees Fahrenheit, this thermometer offers precise readings to the tenth of a degree. Unfortunately, Celsius readings are not available with this model.
Designed to withstand various weather conditions, the thermometer also features an on/off switch located underneath a weather-proof rubber seal on its base. To ensure a strong bond, simply moisten the suction cup before applying it to a clean window pane. For nighttime reading, you can paint or cover the backside of the thermometer white, as the light from the translucent pale green LCD frame may provide illumination.
Powered by a pre-installed L1154 cell battery, this thermometer is easy to maintain and can be replaced using a small Phillips screwdriver. It comes with a limited one-year warranty and measures 2 inches wide, 1/2 inch deep, and 3-1/4 inches high.
