Skyjacker Struts B8555 Editorial Review
**** The Skyjacker B8555 Black MAX Shock Absorber has garnered a mixed reception from customers, with many praising its performance while others faced challenges related to fit and installation. A notable highlight among users is the smooth and controlled ride it provides, particularly for those with lifted vehicles like the International Scout II and YJ Jeep. Many customers noticed a significant improvement in ride quality, especially when replacing less effective shocks, like the Rancho R5000. However, there are also notable criticisms regarding compatibility with various models. Some users reported installation issues, expressing frustration when the shocks did not fit as expected for their specific vehicles, leading to a bumpy ride. A recurring theme in feedback is the durability of the bushings, which some customers found to flatten over time, causing them to search for replacements. Overall, while many users highly recommend the Black MAX shocks for their ability to absorb shock and improve handling, potential buyers should double-check compatibility with their vehicle models beforehand to avoid disappointment. **
