It has adjustable thickness to get thin or thick slices. The hand guard may not work for people with small hands but they can use No Cry gloves as a protective measure. This model does not come with a stand and there is no box designed to collect the sliced goods. The V-1001 model and V3 model are the same, only distributed by different sellers.
