Artists' Books Editorial Review
In this editorial review of "Depeche Mode" by Anton Corbijn, it's clear that the product has garnered a largely positive reception among fans of the iconic band. The book showcases a stunning collection of photographs, many of which are previously unseen, all captured by the official photographer of Depeche Mode. Reviewers appreciated the quality of the images and the overall aesthetic of the hardcover edition, which has been labeled as both elegant and stylish. One of the standout features highlighted by customers is the compact size of this edition, making it more accessible and easier to carry, especially for those who may not have the space for larger coffee table books. Fans noted that this smaller format does not compromise the visual experience, providing an affordable option for enthusiasts wanting to own a piece of Depeche Mode history. However, some reviews expressed minor disappointments. While the book itself was praised, one reviewer mentioned concerns regarding the book's packaging, noting that it arrived without plastic wrap, which could detract from the perception of newness. Additionally, there was a feeling that Alan Wilder's absence from the cover was a missed opportunity, given his significant role in the band's success. Overall, "Depeche Mode" by Anton Corbijn has been warmly received, especially among the band's fans, who appreciate the effort to feature previously unseen material paired with high-quality production. **
