Philips Hue LED Bulbs 915005987901 Editorial Review
The Philips Hue Gradient Tube White and Colour Ambiance is a smart light that is specifically designed for syncing with entertainment and media. It features a sleek black design and works with popular voice assistants such as Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Homekit. One of the standout features of this smart light is its ability to be used with a TV. It can be placed under or behind a TV to create a dynamic lighting experience that enhances the viewing experience. However, it is important to note that it needs to be positioned 40-50CM away from the TV for optimal effectiveness. If you prefer a light that stands up, there is a different option available. To use this smart light, a Hue bridge is required. The bridge allows for easy control and integration with other Hue lights. While it is possible to connect via the Philips app and Bluetooth, using the bridge provides the best experience, especially when combined with the ambilight TV system. Feedback from customers who have used the Philips Hue Gradient Tube has generally been positive. The light is described as very bright and superior to other Hue lights. Some customers have mentioned that this product completes their setup and enhances their lighting experience. However, there have been some issues reported by a few customers. Some received opened boxes and damaged connectors, which was disappointing. Additionally, one customer mentioned that a third of the light did not turn on after setting it up. Overall, the Philips Hue Gradient Tube White and Colour Ambiance is a high-quality product that provides beautiful colors and a great viewing experience when used with a TV. It may be expensive, but for those who want to elevate their home entertainment setup, it is a worthwhile investment.
